The Cat in the Hat takes them to meet the best singing teacher in the world, Humphrey the Humpback Whale! While bobbing in the ocean, Humphrey teaches the kids that whales communicate by singing, and that it's not how you sing that matters, but what you're saying in the song. The kids return home to delight their mothers with their song!

An investigation into some small tracks in the snow, leads them to a mischievous and playful squirrel that soon has them running around the yard. Exhausted, they drop in the snow and make some tracks of their own: snow angels. When Caillou, Rosie and Mom head to the big park, Caillou sees Andre and they decide to build a snow fort. Sarah shows up and the boys put the fort to the test as they start a fun snow fight. Caillou and his family are heading to the tobogganing hill! What fun it is to climb the hill and race down surrounded by people having a good time. Caillou is curious when they see a sled dog and his master giving a sled show.     * Snowman's Land - Sally and Nick have just finished making a statue of the Cat in the Hat out of snow, but he's starting to melt! Good thing Cat knows where to take the melting snowcat: to the cold and snowy north! In the arctic, the kids skate on a frozen lake, make snow sculptures, and learn that water can freeze and melt when it's cold or warm outside. Because it's getting warmer back home, they leave their snowcat sculpture there so they can come back and visit him!

    Spark! [#516] Favianna Rodriguez, Ben Levy and Julio Morales * Favianna Rodriguez is part of a tradition of Chicano graphic artists that dates back to the 60's. A 28-year-old self-taught artist, Rodriguez spent her teen years in Oakland's Fruitvale neighborhood attending free community art workshops. Spark watches as she creates silkscreen and offset posters and follows her to a Day Laborer's Conference to create dialogue around her latest work.
    * Though only 5 years old, LEVYdance has made a big splash in the SF dance community. The artistic director Ben Levy, a 29 year old UC Berkeley grad, was named one of the "Top 25 to watch" by Dance Magazine. Levy is choreographing a new work tentatively called "Patterns of Flight", based on the veiled past of his Iranian-Jewish parents. He's collaborating with composer Keeril Makan, couture designer Colleen Quen, and industrial furniture designer Rick Lee.
    * Laurie Antonioli is a singer and lyricist, and also a teacher. Last year she returned from a 4 year teaching stint near Vienna. Now heading the vocal department at Berkeley's Jazz School, Laurie is working with a new quartet to rehearse and record her collection of "new standards."
    * Artist and Curator Julio Morales explores the confluence of Mexican and US culture in his latest work at Galleria de la Raza. < /html>
