    Thomas & Friends [#809H] Special Times Surprise Surprise - It's the Winter Holidays on Sodor and Thomas is excited because that means it is party time! However Thomas' friends need help. Percy has a cracked coupling rod, Edward's pistons are popping and Stanley has a faulty firebox. Thomas brings them all to the Steam Works to be fixed. Victor is so busy that he won't be able to fix all the engines in time for the party, so Thomas decides to bring the party to the Steam Works but doesn't tell Victor. Thomas asks Rocky to deliver the Christmas tree but Rocky drops it in front of Kevin and causes chaos. Thomas realizes he should have told Victor about the party. Thomas tells Victor about the party and soon all the engines help to get ready. The star is fixed on the tree and the engines have a great party. Tree Trouble - It's the winter holidays and Dowager Hatt, declares a competition to see who can find the tallest and grandest Christmas tree on Sodor. It's the Diesels versus the Steamies as Thomas leads the chase to find the best tree. Thomas and the Diesels race to Misty Island and ask the Logging Locos where they can find the best tree. When they found the perfect trees and began the racing fast back to Sodor, the trees fall off their flatbeds. and are destroyed. The engines go back to the Diesel Works without their trees and Thomas tells Dowager Hatt the news. Thomas decides to go back to Misty Island, chooses a perfect tree and gives it to the Diesels for their Diesel Works. The tree is decorated and looks perfect.     * Batty for Bats - Sally and Nick are playing a game of blindfolded freeze tag but they can't seem to find each other! Luckily the Cat has a friend who is always able to find his way in the dark. He takes them to meet Zapita, a bat who teaches the kids about echolocation. Now that Nick and Sally know how to listen to find their way, freeze tag has become a lot more fun!

[#134H] The Mindysphere/Lone Star Mindy's mom has gradually been giving Mindy permission to go a little bit farther in the neighborhood on her own, and Mindy is trying to map out exactly what her boundaries are. Sean compares her "Mindyspere" to the helisophere-the boundaries of the Sun's influence. The kids get Celery to fly them out past the heliosphere into true interstellar space. Back on Earth, they make their own Voyager 1 (out of a wagon) and take Mindy to the outermost edges of the Mindysphere! / Sydney knows a lot about Boxwood Terrace's early history, and she tells Jet stories about a local pioneer who went by the nickname "Lone Star." He got that name because he was an early astronomer who liked the hills of Boxwood Terrace for their excellent views of the night sky, and built the first Observatory on the hill that now sits at the center of the Deep Space Array.
