Kim Goodfriend's Biography
Kim Goodfriend started baking before she could even
read. Before long, her passionate hobby became a way
of life, not only for enticing her friends and family,
but as a way to find bliss in her career. After
attending the Baking and Pastry program at the
California Culinary Academy, Kim worked as a baker at
La Farine French Bakery in Oakland, CA. She then
merged her longtime publishing career with food, and
now works as a Food Editor, editing cookbooks for
Weldon Owen Publishing, while occasionally freelancing
on the side, making wedding cakes, special occasion
cakes and desserts, and developing recipes.
