KQED Public Television proudly celebrates the diversity of our community
with a special lineup in March, focused on Asian Pacific American themes and issues.
KQED celebrates Heritage Months throughout the year by
providing culturally specific tv and radio programming;
event listings and multimedia event coverage; community
and educator resources; and local hero acknowledgement.
Nominate
a LGBT Local Hero June
is Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Pride Month and KQED is seeking
Bay Area Local Hero nominations. We are interested in individuals
who have demonstrated leadership and a strong commitment to community
service. Please submit Bay Area Unsung Hero nomination forms by Monday,
May 12, 2008.
