Kirk Davis

As a youth pastor working for Young Life -- a non-profit, non-denominational Christian organization reaching out to teens -- and Providence Baptist Church in San Francisco, Kirk Davis has been a shining example of giving for San Francisco's youth.
Each year, Davis brings 25 to 30 youths to Mexico through Young Life's Youth Leadership Development Project to build homes in association with Baja Vision Ministries. In addition, the youth group visits a women's shelter and distributes Christmas gifts at the City of Angeles orphanage in the Tijuana region. During his eight years with Young Life and 10 years with the church, Davis has provided life skills classes, counseling, aftercare programs, college tours and snow trips for youths.
As a father of three, Davis has made it his mission to make a difference in the lives of young people by taking the time to listen and understand their situations and providing counsel. He is guided by the belief that, "It's easier to build boys and girls than to repair men and women."
