As a KQED Continuing Member, you agree to make an ongoing monthly pledge
of support. Your contributions can be deducted directly from your credit
card or bank account, or you can choose to send checks in response to
our reminders. In so doing, you provide KQED with an invaluable resourcea regular, stable source of revenue to support both our daily operations
and the development of future projects and programs.
Developing a solid financial future has been a priority at KQED for the
last few years. Despite funding cutbacks, KQED has been able to succeed
with community support. Our members have always been there for us. We
ask now for the security of knowing that this support will continue for
us into the future.
Your pledge of regular long term support will enable us to focus more
of our energies and resources on meeting the challenges ahead and less
on chasing after the necessary funding.
By becoming a KQED Continuing Member, you become a friend we can rely
on and can communicate with in a more relaxed fashion. Instead of annual
appeals for renewed support that regular members receive, Continuing Members
are offered more information about the programs they love. They can request
postcards and letters updating them on new projects and programs to watch.
Along with our grateful thanks for your committed support, all the regular
benefits of membership will be sent to you, such as KQED's Membercard.
Once a year we will send you a record of your giving history for tax
purposes and give you an opportunity to change your pledge amount or the
way you choose to pay it. Of course, you can change or cancel your payments
at anytime or request a thank you gift.
