A Doctor of Conscience in Iraq
Dr. Chris Coppola was a pediatrician in the U.S. before he shipped out to Iraq for two tours as a military surgeon. His assignment was to treat wounded soldiers, but when children with shrapnel wounds and full-body burns started streaming into the hospital, Dr. Coppola was forced to juggle the needs of the Army with the needs of the community's children.
