KQED Radio Staff
Beth Huizenga earned a Bachelors of Arts in English from Michigan's Calvin College in 1984. Since then, she's been a DJ or news announcer on over a dozen radio stations, including three years in Bangkok and seven years on KFOG as "Beth Holland" (where she also produced and hosted "Local Anesthetic") before coming to KQED in 2000. She's honored to enter the building and take a seat at the controls when one of the staff announcers needs a day off. When she's not pushing buttons in radio master control, Beth delights in teaching yoga and leading Thai massage workshops at various locations in Marin, including the YMCA and the Bernard Osher JCC.
