C N Gifford,
Would you care to elaborate any? I suppose that before I abandon my current beliefs I would like to know what would replace them. As the 'World Authority', perhaps you could please point me in the direction to find better explanations?
Best Regards!

Q: Why don't we feel the Earth Move?
A: Because Earth's planetary motions are not energy-driven (see rules of perpetual motion by space shuttles in orbit)
There are 2 fatal flaws in this old pendulum garbage: 1) the assumption that Earth's rotation acts like energy-driven movements here in the surface of Earth's gravity field & 2) the assumption/delusion/insanity that the vibration (back & forth)of the bob constitutes travel... "above the surface of Earth's rotating surface". Hogwash. This is endemic of glaring, festering flaws in the basic physics curriculum. Physicists do not think. They have convinced themselves that math trumps reasoning. Physicists are too stupid to be trusted with anything pertaining to our physical existence. Respectfully, C N GIfford Springfield, Missouri (The World Authority on all things Coriolis & Foucault)
