Very good article. The Boabab tree found in the Kimberly and Northern Territory ares of Australia are the same genus Adonsonia and it is thought that when the continents of Australia and Africe were closer the Boabab seed pod may have floated or bought over by boat people.

The Queensland Bottle Tree (Brachychiton Rupestris) is the true bottle tree. It is a native Australian tree found mostly in the southern parts of Qeensland but now becoming very popular and being planted over all Australia. It is a protected tree now after hundreds of the finest specimens were uprooted and exported to parts of Asia including China. Expect to see them on your screens during the coming Olympic Games.
