SHARON TILLERSenior Producer
Sharon Tiller is presently the senior producer for special projects at Frontline, where she has been responsible for more than twenty documentaries with subjects ranging from "loose nukes" to juvenile crime. She has won many prestigious broadcast journalism awards including two duPonts: "The Best Campaign Money Can Buy" and "School Colors;" and a George Polk Award for "The Great American Bailout." Four years ago, she helped establish the "Frontline West" project at University of California at Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, where she also teaches. Before joining Frontline, Ms. Tiller was Executive Director and Executive Producer at the Center for Investigative Reporting in San Francisco.
JOSIAH HOOPERProducer/Cinematographer
Josiah Hooper is a documentary filmmaker and journalist. He has worked as a field producer, cameraman and co-producer on non-fiction films in South America, Asia and the United States for various outlets including the Arts & Entertainment Network and Public Television. He is a co-founder of theRake.com, a Web site for independent documentary film and photojournalism. Before working in television, he worked as a production assistant on feature films in Los Angeles and the Bay Area. He earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a Masters degree from University of California at Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, where he was part of an Emmy award-winning student video news magazine, and wrote, filmed and edited an award-winning documentary film.
KATIE GALLOWAYProducer
Katie Galloway is a documentary filmmaker and journalist. She spent three years as one of Broadcast News Network's original video journalists,where she shot and produced many "cinema verite" documentary hours for CBS, and produced pieces for "48 Hours," "CBS Evening News," and "CBS This Morning." She co-produced a series for USA Networks and a pilot for MTV, and most recently worked as a field producer at Frontline. Prior to working in television, Ms. Galloway was an independent radio producer reporting for Pacifica National News and KPFA radio, and a freelance print reporter in the United States and abroad. She graduated valedictorian of the Political Science Department at University of California at Berkeley, and was awarded the John M. Patterson Long Form Television Award at Columbia University School of Journalism, where she earned her Master's degree.
