KQED Public Radio's "Health Dialogues" March Program Looks at Stress

WHAT:
Health Dialogues, a special monthly report airing as part of KQED's statewide news program The California Report and hosted by Scott Shafer, engages listeners in an on-going discussion of California health care issues that are crucial to the state's under-served people.

March topic: Stress
Stress is America's number one health problem. Stress has been linked to heart attacks, stroke, depression, obesity and immune problems. How do you know when you're on your way to burn out? And, how can our workplaces and health care systems help us cope with stress?

The California Report series Health Dialogues is made possible in part by a grant from The California Endowment, a private, statewide health foundation. The mission of The California Endowment is to expand access to affordable, quality health care for under-served individuals and communities and to promote fundamental improvements in the health status of all Californians. The California Report, hosted by Scott Shafer, is a daily statewide news and public affairs program produced by KQED Public Radio and broadcast on more than 20 public radio across the state.
