John L. Boland FEATURED
Northern California Public Broadcasting Appoints John L. Boland as President and CEO
The Board of Directors of Northern California Public Broadcasting announced February 11, 2010 their selection of John L. Boland to become the organization’s sixth president and chief executive officer since its founding as KQED-TV in 1954. Boland served in several executive roles at KQED for more than a decade before joining PBS in 2006. Boland succeeds Jeff Clarke, who is retiring after nearly 45 years in public media and broadcast journalism.
