Reading Rainbow Contest

Kids! Get Ready to Write and Draw!

Reading Rainbow logo

KQED Education Network is proud to announce the winners of the 15th annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest. This popular contest nurtures creative expression by encouraging children in kindergarten through the third grade to write and illustrate their own stories. The winners were chosen from more than 650 entrants from across the Bay Area, including entries from sister station KTEH in San Jose.

We would like to thank all of you who submitted stories, helped volunteer and especially to Tervino and Luiciano Casini who graciously sponsored this year's contest.

For more information email readingrainbow@kqed.org or call (415) 553-2453.
