Nominate a 2013 Bay Area Local Hero for LGBT Pride Month
June is Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Pride Month and KQED is seeking nominations for Bay Area Local Heroes. We are interested in individuals who have demonstrated leadership and a strong commitment to community service. The deadline is Friday, April 12.

KQED is proud to celebrate the richness and diversity of the greater San Francisco Bay Area by commemorating Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Month. In June, KQED Public Television 9 and KQED Public Radio 88.5 FM broadcast a special lineup of programs focused on Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender themes and issues.
