2012 Latino Heroes

Nominate a 2013 Bay Area Local Hero for Latino Heritage Month

September is Latino Heritage Month and KQED is seeking nominations for unsung Bay Area Local Heroes. We are interested in individuals who have demonstrated leadership and a strong commitment to community service. Please submit Bay Area Local Hero nomination forms by Tuesday, July 9, 2013.

KQED proudly celebrates the richness and diversity of our community by scheduling a special lineup of programs in September, focused on Latino themes and issues. These programs are highlighted in this guide along with listings of community resources and local events.
