KQED offers tours of the Television and Radio Facilities for groups of approximately 20 people. The Television tour includes the two TV studios, the Production Control Room, the Editing Suites, and the Master Control Room. KQED's "Boomtown" series will seek to identify what is happening in real time in the current boom, and also draw out the causes and possible solutions to the conflicts and pressures between the old and the new.
