Mercury 20

In February 2008, Gallery Crawl checks out Maya Kabat and Antonio Vigil's Invisible Cities show at Mercury 20, an artist-run gallery in downtown Oakland. (Running Time: 4:25)

Mercury 20 is an artist-run gallery on Oakland's Broadway/Telegraph corridor. Each of the collective's 20 artists participates in a monthly two-person show, which occupies the gallery's storefront space, while works by the other 18 members make up a rotating exhibit in the gallery's back room.

In February 2008, Mercury 20 artists Maya Kabat and Antonio Vigil join forces to examine the relationship between nature, identity and landscape in Invisible Cities. The show runs through March 1, 2008.
