Valencia/Market - June 2006

June 2006 found us exploring the offerings of Market and Valencia -- near the famous Zuni Café and the fabulous art store, Flax. First, we stopped at the Jack Hanley Gallery, where we lost ourselves in the layers of Carter's collage work. A few blocks down, we visited Lincart and indulged our inner-child while we viewed brightly colored pieces that included a hot-dog sculpture, robots and mixed-media coloring book creations.
