SOMA - May 2006
View the May 2006 episode of Gallery Crawl featuring downtown San Francisco galleries Modernism, Varnish and 111 Minna. (Running Time: 16:03)
In May 2006, Gallery Crawl took a tour of SOMA where we made our way through the neighborhood's myriad galleries. Our day started at the always forward thinking Modernism Gallery whose latest exhibition pairs a local and a French artist to create alternate ways of seeing. At Varnish Fine Art, we celebrated the power of three with ceramic tales, otherworldly prints and heavy metal ladies. Around the way at 111 Minna Gallery, we viewed work by photographers whose extended travels introduced audiences to some unique faces and places of America.
