the creation of San Francisco's PBS station KQED, the presidency of WNET in New
York, and chairmanship of the CUNY-TV Advisory Board — died on April 24, 2008.

KQED Public Broadcasting and Comcast Present V-Me, New Spanish-Language Television Network to Bay Area Latino Families
Begins Airing on October 3
Starting Wednesday, October 3 at midnight, KQED and Comcast launch V-me (pronounced veh-meh), a new network with dynamic programming that engages, entertains, and empowers Latino families throughout the Bay Area.
