Alameda Schools' Controversial Anti-Bullying Plan
Despite lawsuits and recall petitions, school officials in the city of Alameda are keeping in place an anti-bullying lesson plan that teaches tolerance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender children and families. But this has upset some parents who feel gays should not be singled out for protection against bullies. We discuss the developments after checking in with Rob Schmitz, KQED's Los Angeles bureau chief currently covering the climate summit in Copenhagen.
