ACORN's Wade Rathke

Download audio (MP3)

For nearly 40 years, The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) has worked on behalf of low-income Americans on issues like living wage legislation, predatory lending, affordable housing, education and health care. But ACORN and its voter registration efforts became a lightning rod for conservative criticism during the last presidential campaign after Senator John McCain accused the group of being "on the verge of maybe perpetrating one of the greatest frauds in voter history." ACORN founder Wade Rathke joins us in the studio to talk about his new book "Citizen Wealth"
