BART Seats: The Ick Factor

A randomly selected BART seat tested positive for antibiotic-resistant bacteria as well as fecal bacteria in a test by a SFSU lab. The Bay Citizen reports the presence of at least nine strains of bacteria. We discuss the danger of such germs with BART's president, the lab technician who did the test, and a public health expert who puts it all into perspective.
