Sunset magazine has been helping define western lifestyle and cuisine since it was founded in 1892 to make life more comfortable for new Eastern arrivals to the wild west. The just released "Sunset Cookbook" collects more than a thousand recipes from the magazine and tells the history and stories behind western cooking and California cuisine.
