The Farm is now run by the City of San Jose and the Department of Parks and Recreation. It's a great place to bring kids and learn about life on a farm. We're going play with some animals and we'll learn about some really interesting gardening projects going on here.
  We'll also meet playwright and film director Luis Valdez, the man behind the camera for the films Zoot Suit and La Bamba. Valdez spent part of his childhood not far from here as a migrant farm worker. We'll also meet activist and attorney Carol Ruth Silver. James wants to help by pulling him forward, but Toby thinks they should get Rocky since Gordon is too heavy. James doesn't listen and tries to pull Gordon, and his driving wheels now come off the track. When James tries to push Gordon, the Fenland track cracks and Gordon falls! James then asks Toby to get Rocky for help. James says that Toby is the best Rescue Tram on the whole of Island of Sodor. Harry Hiro - Thomas tries to cheer Hiro up when he sees that he is sad because he misses his home. Thomas is sure that he can make Hiro smile and asks Charlie to tell him a joke, but Hiro doesn't laugh. Thomas brings Hiro to Misty Island and he enjoys the sounds of the birds. Thomas doesn't pay attention and takes him to race through the hollow tree tunnel. When Hiro wants to look at the sea, Thomas takes him on a tour of the hills of Sodor. Thomas realizes he needs to listen to Hiro and what he wants. They listen to the birds at the hollow tree tunnel and visit the Jobi Woods. The places they visit remind Hiro of home. When the blizzard passes, they emerge on the other side of the island in the middle of the penguins' nesting ground! Mission accomplished! Tiny stops Mom from throwing out all the stuff, determined that she and Buddy, Tiny, and Don will find a use for it all. When they return from eating a healthy power snack, their ball is missing! It's a real mystery and they need to investigate to solve the problem! First, Telly writes down what they already know about the mystery! Then, he forms a hypothesis, or a guess, that Abby must have made the basketball disappear because she's able to do magic. Abby tells them that she was with the seven dwarves so it couldn't have been her. Telly and Elmo investigate further and Elmo suggests that they look under the table. The basketball isn't there and now Telly's notebook and crayon have vanished making the mystery even more mysterious! Elmo discovers a new clue and after thinking about where he's heard this "whoosh" sound before, he forms a new hypothesis- the Big Bad Wolf did it! The Big Bad Wolf explains that it wasn't him either. Now they hear the "whoosh" again and Telly's hat is missing! This time they also feel a tickle but don't see anything. Leela comes by and helps them piece all the clues together. What can be all around that you can sometimes hear and feel, but can't see? Wind! Elmo and Telly experiment and test out their new hypothesis and see if the wind made their things disappear. They follow a leaf flying in the wind and find all of their missing things. Grandma has given Caillou a special spaceship plate. Caillou loves it so much that he carries it everywhere with him and he wants to eat every meal from it. After finding a photograph of a four-year-old Dad with a model train set, Caillou and Dad decide to look for it in Grandpa's basement. After a while, they finally find it and set it up to test it out. Grandma captures the moment in a photograph which Caillou decides to put in the photo album beside the old picture of Dad. When Caillou spots a dog house outside he gets the idea that Gilbert might like a house of his own. Caillou finds a cardboard box and some crayons and with Gilbert's help, he decides how to decorate the house. Grandma takes Caillou on a special visit to a sheep farm. When Henry tries to steam through Sodor using the normal coal, he breaks down. Henry realizes that he has been a silly engine. Sir Topham Hatt tells Henry that it is the special coal that makes Henry such a special engine. When 'Arry and Bert tease Henry again, he tells them that he is proud of being a special engine with special coal. Henry even helps 'Arry and Bert when they run out of diesel! Edward the Hero - Edward is given the special job of being the Rescue Engine at the Sodor Search and Rescue Center. Edward wants to be a hero if he is to help Harold at the Center. Edward thinks that heroes are strong, fast and stern so decides he must be strong, fast and stern too. He helps Charlie by being funny, helps Dowager Hatt by being kind, and helps Farmer McColl's dog by being gentle. Edward doesn't think he's a hero though because he hasn't shown he is fast, strong and stern. As Edward chuffs along the tracks he sees people cheering and waving to him and calling him a hero. When he announces that a huge non-existent storm is on its way, the Valley is thrown into chaos with machines running this way and that. Soon gridlock brings the whole place to a standstill. Bob goes to rescue Spud and discovers the truth about his stories. Spud is very sorry and uses the radio to direct everyone back to where they should be. Spud decides that being a DJ is not for him. He's better off scaring crows. Mike Turntable has just finished the night shift at the radio station is trying to get some sleep at the Bobland Bay hotel before he DJs at the hotel pool party that evening. Scoop and Muck are digging the pool in time for the party, a job that's much noisier than they expect. Mike keeps waking up. Trying to dig quietly and quickly is proving impossible. Scoop tries to soundproof Mike's room with egg boxes, but that doesn't work, so he has another idea. He remembers Mike's favorite song and plays it to him through some big headphones. Mike is soon sleeping like a baby and the pool is soon finished!
