The Farm is now run by the City of San Jose and the Department of Parks and Recreation. It's a great place to bring kids and learn about life on a farm. We're going play with some animals and we'll learn about some really interesting gardening projects going on here.
We'll also meet playwright and film director Luis Valdez, the man behind the camera for the films Zoot Suit and La Bamba. Valdez spent part of his childhood not far from here as a migrant farm worker. We'll also meet activist and attorney Carol Ruth Silver. They also have to complete challenges while wearing the hats on their heads such as saying the alphabet while standing on one leg and estimating the amount of hats they have. With no hats left to add, Elmo and Zoe ask Abby to come up with a spell to make more. Abby finally finds the right words and Elmo and Zoe end up with huge towers of hats on their heads.
