Eugene is a smaller version of Hank, an armored dinosaur with a giant tail-club. Hank and Eugene really hit it off, and after they all play Dinoball, Hank recruits Eugene to play on his team! Pterosaur Flying Club - Tiny and Shiny practice their swoop-de-loops and other flying moves in anticipation of their play-date with fellow Pterosaurs Petey Peteinosaurus and Quincy Quetzalcoatlus. Inez and Jackie urge Matt to take a quick break and go into Cyberspace for Haunt-O-Rama at R-Fair City - an amusement park cybersite lit up to the nines for the Halloween holiday. The girls assure Matt he will be back home in plenty of time, and he agrees to go. But all their plans change when Hacker traps the kids on R-Fair City, hacking the portal system so they can't get back to Earth! (He thought he was keeping them out of Cyberspace for good, but alas, Buzz and Delete botched their task yet again.) Upset that he came to R-Fair City in the first place, Matt is worried about missing his family's party. The kids must find enough energy on R-Fair City to power Digit's old Portal Rebooter and fix the system.     Cyberchase [#607] Jimaya Jam Hacker has discovered an army of awesome creatures he can use to rule cyberspace, but they are carved in stone on the walls of the Pyramid of Jimaya. To bring the animals to life, he must steal the Sphere of Being, a magical orb closely guarded by three ghosts (Hacker's worst nightmare). How can he distract them so he can steal the Sphere? Opportunity knocks when he tricks Jules, recently hired as tour guide, into pushing the wrong button and falling, along with the kids and Creech, into an underground arena from which there is no escape! Confronted by the Jam Master, the guardian of the pyramid, and the Pyramid's three ghosts, the kids are told they can go free if they can overcome the ghosts in a game of Jimaya Jam. The game is like basketball except for a few small quirks: When Matt tries to dribble and move the ball across the court, it breaks! And he can't move from where he stands on the court once he receives it. Coach Jackie struggles with a game plan until the kids realize that diagramming her plays makes it a whole lot easier to follow them. James wants to help by pulling him forward, but Toby thinks they should get Rocky since Gordon is too heavy. James doesn't listen and tries to pull Gordon, and his driving wheels now come off the track. When James tries to push Gordon, the Fenland track cracks and Gordon falls! James then asks Toby to get Rocky for help. James says that Toby is the best Rescue Tram on the whole of Island of Sodor. Harry Hiro - Thomas tries to cheer Hiro up when he sees that he is sad because he misses his home. Thomas is sure that he can make Hiro smile and asks Charlie to tell him a joke, but Hiro doesn't laugh. Thomas brings Hiro to Misty Island and he enjoys the sounds of the birds. Thomas doesn't pay attention and takes him to race through the hollow tree tunnel. When Hiro wants to look at the sea, Thomas takes him on a tour of the hills of Sodor. Thomas realizes he needs to listen to Hiro and what he wants. They listen to the birds at the hollow tree tunnel and visit the Jobi Woods. The places they visit remind Hiro of home.     Thomas & Friends [#804H] Happy Engines Henry's Happy Coal - Henry is given a special of taking a very important visitor around Sodor. When Henry visits the Steam Works he is teased by 'Arry and Bert for needing to use special coal. Henry wants be like the rest of the Steamies and use normal coal instead of his special coal. When Henry tries to steam through Sodor using the normal coal, he breaks down. Henry realizes that he has been a silly engine. Sir Topham Hatt tells Henry that it is the special coal that makes Henry such a special engine. When 'Arry and Bert tease Henry again, he tells them that he is proud of being a special engine with special coal. Henry even helps 'Arry and Bert when they run out of diesel! Edward the Hero - Edward is given the special job of being the Rescue Engine at the Sodor Search and Rescue Center. Edward wants to be a hero if he is to help Harold at the Center. Edward thinks that heroes are strong, fast and stern so decides he must be strong, fast and stern too. He helps Charlie by being funny, helps Dowager Hatt by being kind, and helps Farmer McColl's dog by being gentle. Edward doesn't think he's a hero though because he hasn't shown he is fast, strong and stern. As Edward chuffs along the tracks he sees people cheering and waving to him and calling him a hero. She teaches him a few moves, and when Caillou and Leo realize it's a lot like hockey, they're eager to join the girls' next game. Educational Objective: Keeping an open mind about trying something new. Rainy Day at the Beach: Caillou and his family are supposed to be enjoying a nice day at the beach, but it's cloudy and rainy. Mommy and Daddy think of going home, until Caillou and Rosie show them they can have fun no matter where they are - even a wet and soggy beach! Educational Objective: Making the best out of a bad situation. Caillou Climbs: Mommy takes Caillou and Clementine to an indoor rock climbing wall, but Caillou doesn't want to give it a try. It's much too intimidating! Caillou overcomes his fear by literally taking things one step at a time.     Bob the Builder [#909] Well Done, Everyone! Pick Up a Penguin: Bob and the team are finishing off the new penguin pool at the zoo. It's nearly complete when Lofty accidentally drops a large rock and it smashes the observation window. The penguins arrive at the site before the window is repaired and Lofty suggests they revel in the Town Hall's fountain until the pool is ready. When Mayor Madison unexpectedly returns from touring the city with the unimpressed Mayor Snipe from Riverdale, she is outraged by the scene. Mayor Snipe, however, is thrilled. Bob and the team finish the job and the penguins are shuffled back to the zoo to enjoy their new pool. Learning Goals: To observe and identify characteristics of an animal habitat. To explore creative problem solving. Home on the Range: Bob and the team are at the racetrack building three horse stables for the big race, the Spring City Sprint. Leo slips into 'cowboy mode' at the sight of horses. After a few antics, he scares the horses and they escape from their paddock, destroying the day's work. Bob and Scoop round up the horses while Wendy and Lofty safely steer them back to their paddock. The day comes to a close and Bob, Wendy, and Lofty must resort to re-building the stables overnight. The next morning, the race is set to begin but Bob, Wendy, and Lofty are already fast asleep. Learning Goals: To explore creative thinking and problem solving.     Ready Jet Go! [#137] Castaway Carrot/Jet Can't Sleep After an afternoon on the Moon, Celery, Jet, and Sunspot discover, as they fly to Earth, that they have mistakenly left Carrot on the Moon! Then the saucer malfunctions and they receive news of a possible solar storm headed their way. In a nail-biter, Jet and Sunspot do a mid-outer space repair job - as per Celery's instructions -with Carrot comically adapting to the Moon environment. In the end, the saucer is fixed, Carrot is rescued, and the solar storm heads in the opposite direction of the Moon. / When a loud thunderstorm hits the neighborhood one evening, the Propulsions are woken up. They gather in the kitchen as the noisy storm rages on, and Jet is too excited to get back to sleep. Carrot, Celery, and Sunspot are sympathetic - they're in the same boat! During the night they all learn about Earth storms as compared to storms on other planets. And then they all try to get Jet to fall back asleep, a seemingly impossible task.
