As the bureau's top counterterrorism agent, O'Neill - who investigated the bombings of the US embassies in Africa and the attack on the USS Cole - joined then national security counterterrorism co-coordinator Richard Clarke in believing that the United States should kill Osama bin Laden before Al Qaeda launched a devastating attack on America. Richard Clarke, in his first major interview, talks about O'Neill's battles with the FBI top brass who found O'Neill's James Bond style an anathema. Forced out of the job he loved, O'Neill took a new position in the private sector - as head of security at the World Trade Center, where he was killed on September 11. The story of O'Neill's life and death provides a rare glimpse inside the FBI and helps answer the question: What did the government know? duration 56:46   STEREO TVPG

Celery flies them out to space, and the kids learn the difference between an asteroid, a meteor, and a meteorite. Worried at first, Sean learns that only the rare asteroid (called a meteorite) makes it all the way to Earth, so he decides that he'll become really good at "Astro-Tracker" to prepare for the future when he can be on a team of scientists who track rogue asteroids. Curriculum: Asteroids are small solar system bodies that orbit the Sun. Asteroids are similar to comets but do not have a visible coma (fuzzy outline and tail) like comets do. When they finally pay their new neighbor a visit, the real story is even more interesting than George's theory.
    * Being Hundley - George gets tired of being a monkey because monkeys have to clean their room, brush their teeth, and go to bed early. Osiris Rex: Countdown to Launch Sitting on an asteroid, more than a 100 million miles away from Earth, are a few ounces of soil scientists are anxiously awaiting to get their hands on - a sample that just might contain the molecular precursors to the origin of life. But just how will these scientists accomplish this? The half-hour documentary OSIRIS-REX: COUNTDOWN TO LAUNCH follows a multi-generational team of scientists and engineers as they struggle to design, construct, and deliver on time the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft and its components to NASA in anticipation of its September 2016 launch from Cape Canaveral. OSIRIS-REx is expected to travel more than 400 million miles to rendezvous with an asteroid named Bennu, whose diameter is less than half a mile. It will then use its suite of instruments to find the perfect place to gather a sample from the asteroid's surface, traveling another 400 million miles and a total of six years to bring that sample back to Earth. NASA's OSIRIS-REx Asteroid Sample Return Mission is a 14-year, one billion dollar study aimed at learning more about one of the most fascinating and potentially hazardous asteroids in the solar system - before it potentially collides with Earth more than 150 years from now. duration 26:46   STEREO TVG

In the wake of the tragedy, geomorphologists are tracing the geological history of Oso to explain why the site was so unstable. But Oso isn't alone. Globally, landslides and other ground failures cost more lives and money each year than all other natural disasters combined. The threat of bigger, more frequent landslides is growing as climate change increases intense precipitation events. As Nova follows scientists surveying landslide danger zones, discover how and why landslides happen and how new laser monitoring technologies may help predict landslides before disaster strikes. duration 56:46   STEREO TVPG
