The Witch of Wyckhadden (Episode #107H)

KQED 9: Fri, Dec 28, 2018 -- 5:00 AM

Escaping Carsely after an unfortunate (and potentially mortifying) hairdressing mishap, Agatha books herself into the vast Wyckhadden Hotel to avoid personal embarrassment. The establishment is far from her expectations - a spooky place with eccentric guests. Hoping to put an end to her hair woes, Agatha visits local 'witch' Francie Juddle, but finds herself in the center of another scandal when Francie's body is discovered mere hours later.
With suspicion falling on the various hotel guests - including American tourists Jennifer Stobbs and Mabel Dulsey, the skittish Daisy Jones and permanent resident Colonel Lyche - as well as Agatha herself, news reaches Carsely of Francie's gruesome passing. Bound by duty to their friend, James, Bill, Roy and Gemma journey to Wyckhadden in the hopes of clearing Agatha's name.
Though officially warned off the case by local police, Agatha is quick to sniff out possible motives for Francie's unfortunate murder. And when Francie's daughter Janine appears on-scene with a possible way of unmasking the murderer, Agatha must answer a potentially life-changing question from James.

But when Kylie is found dead shortly thereafter, her body apparently drowned in a flash flood in the area, Agatha realizes there may be more to the death that initially meets the eye.
Seeing some of herself in the late Kylie (Agatha also wed impulsively at an early age), and implored by Kylie's mother Freda to do what she can, Agatha decides to take matters into her own hands, against the direct orders of DC Bill Wong and DCI Wilkes. Uncovering suspicious patterns of behavior in the bridal party, Kylie's place of work, and even the groom himself, Agatha has work cut out for her if she is to get at the truth.

The Vicious Vet (Episode #105H)

KQED 9: Fri, Dec 28, 2018 -- 3:00 AM

After a recent bad experience, Agatha is reticent to become involved romantically with a younger man. But when the women of Carsely flock to the vets in the hopes of stealing a glance at newbie Paul Bladen, she cannot resist a peek for herself. Sure, enough, Paul is a smoothie - and he quickly invites Agatha out to a candlelit supper. < br>But the flirtation is cut brutally short when Paul's lifeless body is found the next morning. An unfortunate 'accident' is ruled as cause of death as, during an operation on the Pendlebury estate, an injection of extremely powerful tranquilizer found its way into Paul's heart.
Sensing that something isn't right, Agatha resolves to find out the truth of the matter, fishing out suspects on the estate itself, as well as the other women Paul had set his sights on. As Agatha edges towards unmasking the killer, she and James become closer during the investigation.

The Wellspring of Death (Episode #103H)

Passions are running high in the otherwise sleepy village of Ancombe, where a spat over the selling of historic water rights has re-opened old wounds. In need of improved public relations and embarrassed by the incident, the water company, Ancombe Water, hires Agatha Raisin on freelance basis to repair their tattered image.
Whilst Agatha is more concerned about the job in hand, spurred on by the romantic advances of charming company owner Guy Freemont, but her rivalry with Mary Fortune deepens, as she and James Lacey begin an amateur investigation of their own. KQED 9: Thu, Dec 27, 2018 -- 8:00 PM

With the day of the Gardens Open Day Competition beckoning on the horizon, a key date in Carsely village life, Agatha is determined to do well. But as bizarre instances of garden vandalism plague the village, as well as joyriders from Birmingham tearing up the village green in the night, someone seems to be sabotaging their rivals' chances. And although Agatha's garden is left untouched, the same cannot be said for her neighbors, including Sarah Bloxby and Mrs. Josephs, whose hopes have been dashed.
Things are complicated further when Mary Fortune, James Lacey's other half, is found dead in her own back garden; her head 'planted' into one of her oversized pots. Whilst she had presented herself as a perfect paragon of Cotswolds excellence, Agatha quickly uncovers that Mary had stoked the ire of other Carsely villagers. Determined to get to the bottom of the case (against the wishes of James and Carsely police), Agatha begins an investigation of her own. As secrets about Mary's youth and extended family come to light, Agatha delves deeper to uncover the truth behind the mysterious case of the potted gardener...
