Their journey ends by hearing the beautiful music of the humpback whale before returning home to Reeftown.

Gush soon explains that Splash isn't a superhero, but simply has a lateral line sense, which is common for fish. / Ripple feels like she is struggling to be part of her group of friends, then meets a shy oyster named Pearlene, who also feels isolated from those around her. Seeing how nice and kind Pearlene truly is, Ripple encourages her to "open up" to others and make new friends. She does, and finds that, despite her rocky, mucky exterior, she has a great inner beauty: not just the pearl inside of her shell, but also her warmth and compassion for everyone.

Looking to get as far away from the warmth of the sun as possible, the kids take Mo down to the Arctic, but he quickly realizes it is too cold for him there. / Splash and friends are having a great time pretending to be different fish, but Finny isn't good at pretending she is a fin whale because she is not used to using her imagination. Together, the kids teach Finny how to have fun harnessing the power of her imagination, while also learning about fin whales.

Splash then laments that he's got so many talented friends, but he has no talent to show. His friends remind him that his talent is making friends and organizing events like the talent show.

They recognize each other with their unique whistle names and are happy to be reunited after many years.

However, Gush decides to run the obstacle course just to show them how fast a frogfish can be. / Dunk's "little cousin" Mo, a giant sunfish, comes to visit. The kids try to accommodate Mo, despite his large size, but he's only there for a short time, because large fish like him prefer the space in the open ocean.

Dunk tells them that he doesn't want to get rid of the parasite and even thinks of it as a friend, but in truth, he is afraid to go see the cleaner shrimp. / Ripple hears a strange message traveling through the ocean and follows the voice all the way to a fin whale, who explains that the voice was a message from her brother thousands of miles away.

Super Splash!/Pearlene (Episode #111)

While playing, Splash senses something is wrong and quickly swims out of Dunk's way as he comes in for a hard landing. The strange thing is that Splash wasn't even looking in Dunk's direction, so how did he know he was coming? Convinced that he has some sort of superpower, the kids begin testing Splash's limits in a series of sneak attacks, which never work. Gush soon explains that Splash isn't a superhero, but simply has a lateral line sense, which is common for fish. / Ripple feels like she is struggling to be part of her group of friends, then meets a shy oyster named Pearlene, who also feels isolated from those around her. Seeing how nice and kind Pearlene truly is, Ripple encourages her to "open up" to others and make new friends. She does, and finds that, despite her rocky, mucky exterior, she has a great inner beauty: not just the pearl inside of her shell, but also her warmth and compassion for everyone.

They venture out to find the end of the ocean and discover a rainbow salmon, Sal, who teaches them about the difference between fresh water and seawater, and about where all the water goes beyond the ocean. / Splash, Bubbles, Dunk and Ripple travel to the Antarctic and meet a new friend, Dive, a gentoo penguin who can live in and out of the water. Dive wants to be a Reeftown Ranger, but needs to learn that he is not just like a fish!
