Celebrate America's birthday with the country's favorite Independence Day tradition. Tom Bergeron takes the helm as the new host of the star-spangled affair, which features an inspiring Olympic tribute to Team USA and performances by Megan Hilty, Javier Colon, Kool & the Gang, Kelli O'Hara and the National Symphony Orchestra, topped off by the greatest display of fireworks anywhere in the nation. The festivities air live from the West Lawn of the US Capitol before a concert audience of hundreds of thousands, millions more at home, on National Public Radio and to our troops around the world on the American Forces Network.

KQED will no longer broadcast the KQEH signal from Monument Peak Tower effective 1/17/2018
KQED will be removing its over-the-air television signal from the Monument Peak Tower in the San Jose area on January 17, 2018 (Note: this maintenance was previously scheduled for December 15, 2017).
