Video Shows Sacramento Police Shooting Unarmed Black Man in Grandparents' Backyard
Police officials have released body cam, chopper and 911 audio of an incident from Sunday in which Sacramento police shot at 22-year-old Stephon Clark at least 20 times, killing him in his grandparents' backyard. The incident began when police received a 911 call saying a man had broken car windows and was hiding in a back yard.

Climate Goes to Court: Oil Attorneys Play Up Uncertainty in Science
Overflow crowds packed two federal courtrooms in San Francisco Wednesday, to see a bizarre spectacle: scientists and oil industry lawyers schooling a federal judge on climate science. The spectacle was a part of a case brought by San Francisco and Oakland over the looming costs of sea level rise. The two Bay Area cities have argued that Chevron, Exxon, BP and others have worsened their risk of sea level rise.
