DEEP LOOK Earth Day Film FestDescription
During the week of Earth Day's 50th Anniversary, KQED Science is bringing you an array of coverage and programming to mark this watershed moment in environmental awareness and ecological education.
Join us for a virtual film festival with KQED’s very own nature series DEEP LOOK! Our four-minute videos about small animals and plants are filmed very close up in beautiful ultra-high-definition to give viewers a look at the natural world that they rarely get to see or experience. We'll screen four to five videos and afterwards you’ll have a chance to ask scientists and video producers questions about the amazing animals you just saw. Prepare to discover the fascinating and beautiful interconnectedness between the lives and behaviors of the creatures onscreen and their complex ecosystems.
DEEP LOOK is created by KQED in San Francisco and presented on the PBS Digital Studios YouTube network.
