My name is Monique Bell (aka Momo), and I go to ISA High School. I am 18 years old and in the 12th grade, and I am from San Francisco. I was born here in San Francisco.

What I would like to do in the future is to be a Fashion Designer because I am into art and fashion and I love clothes. Drawing is a big part of my life; it is like a main vein in my body, because I need it and I can't live without it.

What am I getting out of Youth Media Corps? I am learning about media and video, which will help me in the future because fashion and media are all over the world. Our project is on heroes. My hero is René Walker because she taught me to put everything to the side to go after my dream and live it up, and that's me all the way: I love to live it up. I had people telling me that I was not going to make it in the fashion world, and I was hurt, but René' told me: "To h*** with the world, do what you want to do, if it is something that you love, it will make you live longer."
