KQED's Youth Media Corps high school-aged participants choose
a topic that's important to their community, and produce a
broadcast quality video for KQED Public TV 9 and Web component
at www.kqed.org/youthmedia. By adding youth voices into the
regular mix of mainstream media, the KQED YMC ensures accurate,
relevant and fair representation of issues that affect youth
and their communities.

CYC Computer Clubhouse VISION:
To impact youth with highly-motivated, enthusiastic, and caring
volunteer mentors in an open non-structured safe environment
equipped with cutting-edge, state-of-the-art hardware and software
allowing youth the freedom for self-exploration while learning,
exchanging experiences and developing bonds with mentors from
the community-at-large. |
