Mission Statement:

The Youth Media Corps (YMC) is determined to highlight the problem that youth today rely on media, shaping perceptions to such a great extent that it soon becomes reality. Although it is one of the most difficult challenges to overcome, the public has the power to conquer this obstacle. The YMC is determined to relay the message not to let the media define one's reality. Through the use of television and the Internet, nine diverse teens will educate the community so they can defeat this trial and succeed in becoming aware, responsible and most importantly, freethinking citizens.
