My clothes don't fit
and I'm getting darker around my tits
My mom says I'm cute
My mom says, I love you
But she says this to hide the pain she's going through
My, my, my pregnancy

The Youth Media Corps Teen Pregnancy Campaign believes that teen pregnancy is an issue that continues to exist among young communities of this country. We teens need guidance and support in making more careful decisions that may affect our future goals.
Teens who give birth are much more likely to come from poor or low-income families (83%) than are teens who have abortions (61%) or teens in general (38%).

This campaign is the result of a partnership between KQED's Youth Media Corps and YouthSounds. These programs give youth a chance to voice their opinions through production. Youth make short movies or Web sites. These two programs do not tell youth what to do, it's 100% up to the youth to create their own ideas. However, the programs do teach youth how to use technical equipment the right way and help make ideas into reality. Read more about these organizations.

This project was made possible by the support of the Miranda Lux Foundation.
Additional technical support for this project was provided by the Salesforce.com Foundation.
