Six years old, getting locked in a closet.
Seven years old locked in the attic.
Twelve years old, locked in my room.

Writing activities in the Solutions program cover a range of topics. They usually follow a drama activity or an icebreaker. Girls are asked to write on the topic but are encouraged to say whatever they feel. Sometimes a girl who does not write well will ask a teacher to transcribe her words. Girls can read their writing and receive feedback at the end of the session.
