The California Report: Health Dialogues
Erin Brockovich made California water pollution infamous. The state's groundwater and wells have been polluted by a host of chemicals, from pesticides to MTBE. And environmentalists have criticized the state for its inadequate monitoring program. At the same time, populations are growing and water is becoming a more precious commodity.

When we turn on the tap, how do we know the water is safe to drink? What's the state doing? What are individual communities doing? What is the difference between small wells and larger suppliers? Health Dialogues will look at the safety and reliability of our drinking water supplies.
