Bay Window presents a contemporary view
of a Bay Area high school. The students at Palo Alto High discuss the cliques
and the extracurricular activities that they participate in to distinguish
and define themselves. Are the pressures for success at an all-time high,
especially surrounded by the economic boom of Silicon Valley? Bay Window
producer and independent filmmaker Jona Frank filmed a diverse group of
students in black-and-white across the campus grounds. Paly High: Between Classes airs on KQED TV9 Wednesday, April 19,
2000, at 8:30 p.m. and repeats Sunday, April 23, at 6 p.m.
