Dr. Nicollette Collins

Experts

Dr. Nicolette Collins is a pediatrician and assistant professor at UC San Francisco who also heads a program for high risk youth for the county of San Francisco. Dr. Collins will discuss the role of education and environment on childhood development and behavior.
 


Rev. David Martin is the Executive Director of Marin AIDS Interfaith Network in Marin County. He also serves as a consultant on HIV/AIDS issues for the Office of Health Ministries of the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. David has served on the Marin AIDS Commission for nearly a decade.
 

Nancy Rubin

Nancy Rubin is a renowned teacher of human sexuality to teens in the Bay Area. She currently teaches at Sir Francis Drake High School in Marin. The recipient of a 1999 Ambassador Award, Rubin co-wrote a handbook for teachers called Demystifying Homosexuality.
 

Dr. Richard Winefield serves KQED as the Director of the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning (CELL). He holds a doctorate in Administration and Public Policy from Harvard University. He will be reporting on the impact these issues have had on Bay Area school districts.
