The son of former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon, Sr., Bill Simon has seen first hand the importance that hard work and honesty play in solving problems and earning respect.

He co-founded the private investment firm of William E. Simon & Sons. The firm's investments include PAXTV, a family-friendly broadcast network free of graphic violence, sex and inappropriate language.

After law school, Bill worked as a lawyer with Davis, Markel, Dwyer & Edwards. He subsequently served as Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, working under then-U.S. Attorney Rudolph Giuliani.

Simon served with former Governor George Deukmejian on the Board of Directors for the Criminal Justice Legal Foundation, a non-profit public interest law organization dedicated to restoring a balance between the rights of crime victims and the criminally accused.

Bill Simon serves as vice-chairman of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, the largest private network of social service organizations in the nation; Chairman Emeritus of Covenant House of California, a crisis shelter for homeless and at-risk youth; and continues the charitable efforts of his father as Co-Chairman of the William E. Simon Foundation.
