The program, which provides poor people with small loans they can use to launch businesses, has since spread to every continent and has benefited more than 100 million families. More recently, Yunus felt the need to move beyond microcredit into other fields, including healthcare. This doc examines how he, in partnership with some of the world's most visionary businesses, launched ventures designed to tackle social problems. Cahill takes us on a journey into the "secret world of plants," revealing an astonishing landscape where plants eavesdrop on each other, talk to their allies, call in insect mercenaries and nurture their young.
