The 15- minute segments are frequently coupled together to fill a 30- minute time slot at the option of local programmers. The first three shows demonstrate and explain three to four new postures or exercises per show. The last two shows serve as review so the viewer has a chance to make certain they followed and understood correctly. In addition, if the viewer missed a show, the Thursday and Friday review days bring them up-to-date. At the onset, the program is strictly teaching the "building blocks" of yoga exercise. As the series progresses, the work becomes more demanding.     Betrayal: The Life and Art of Rudolf Bauer From the height of achievement to the depths of obscurity, from a Gestapo prison to the Guggenheim Museum, the story of 20th-century abstract artist Rudolf Bauer is one of Shakespearean proportion. Yet Bauer's name and art have been largely forgotten. This documentary revisits the life and art of this important painter, from his artistic beginnings in Berlin before World War I to his pioneering contributions to non-objective art and his patronage by copper magnate Solomon R. Guggenheim.
    Intertwined with Bauer's artistic life was his tumulttuous relationship with Hilla Rebay, Guggenheim's personal curator and Bauer's former lover. Through this connection, Bauer played a crucial role in the establishment of Guggenheim's collection and a museum to house it. Ultimately, a dramatic falling out with Rebay and Guggenheim would take its toll on the artist, his art, and his legacy. 60 years later, the art of Rudolf Bauer is rediscovered.

    loopdiver: The Journey of a Dance Troika Ranch, a dance-theater-media performance company based out of New York City and Berlin, Germany comes to Lincoln, Nebraska to create a new piece called "loopdiver." What begins as an experiment involving the loops and repetitions created by today's computerized modern world evolves into a complex exploration into the repetitive patterns in which ordinary people find themselves trapped. Over the course of two years, company members struggle with their own inner turmoil as they try to cope with the extreme physical and emotional demands of creating this unique new work. Real-life inspiration comes when company members visit a rehabilitation hospital and see firsthand the repetitive motions patients perform in an effort to regain mobility. This program follows along on the creative journey with these "interactive performance pioneers" as they create "loopdiver" -- an avant-garde, multimedia dance work interweaving looped choreography, music, interactive visuals and lighting as the performers attempt to escape their prisons of repetition. duration 26:46   STEREO TVG
