Grover realizes that people all over the Laundromat need his help. Bert has soggy socks, Gina is out of fabric softener, and Cookie Monster has a stain. Without his cape, Grover decides that a new super hero must be born! Grover returns as Iron Monster, complete with a metal suit! Chris shows up asking Leela to break his dollar so he can do his laundry. Iron Monster misunderstands and wrestles with the dollar to "break" it. Leela comes back and explains that Chris just needs quarters- four quarters for each dollar. Gabi comes to the Laundromat with two mustard stains on her sweatshirt. Iron Monster tries to get rid of the stains by subtracting them, but adds five more stains instead! Leela shows Iron Monster how to subtract all of the stains with a stain remover as Elmo counts along. Finally, Iron Monster tries to solve Maria's problem by using static cling to find Maria's missing sock. After laundry goes flying everywhere, Leela suggests they check the missing sock box. They sort through different patterns and find the lost red and white striped sock. Finally, Grover's cape is ready. Before he flies off for his next adventure, Grover points out that Iron Monster is not needed anymore because the Laundromat already has a fantastic super hero, Leela.     Caillou [#428] Changing Plans Caillou learns to cope with change. It's raining outside but there is no stopping Caillou! He sees a robin catch a worm and is thrilled when he finds a worm of his own. When Leo calls to invite Caillou over to play, Caillou isn't sure at first if he wants to go since he's having such a great time by himself. Later, Caillou, Rosie and Mom are having fun at the park when the ice-cream man comes around. Caillou wants an ice-cream but the ice-cream man leaves before he can get there. On a suggestion from Dad, Caillou becomes the "ice-cream man." Also, Caillou just loves his Superbear storybook. When Caillou wants to hear it again and again, Dad explains that he has other things to do. Caillou decides to make up a story on his own and plays it out with Rosie. Then, Caillou is playing a board game with Mom and he gets a little upset when he discovers that she is going to win. He tries to change the rules but Mom stands her ground. These are the rules and you can't always win. Caillou is excited when Miss Martin takes him and his friends to the park for some special activities.     Thomas & Friends [#604H] Marvelous Moments! Thomas is asked by Farmer Trotter to collect some straw for the piglets, which are soon to be born. But on the way, Thomas sees other things he thinks the piglets will like. He soon discovers all the piglets really need is straw and rushes off to correct his mistake in time for the piglets' arrival. Thomas has to transport something called The Lion of Sodor. It's actually a statue, but Thomas thinks it's a real lion, and is too excited to listen to other engines who try to correct him. Thomas gets his friends to help by giving the "lion" fish and straw. So, all because Thomas was in too much of a hurry to listen to advice, the statue is in a real mess.     Bob the Builder [#610] Spud Hits The Airwaves When Mike Turntable, the Sunflower DJ, needs to get his new microphone, Spud volunteers to run the radio station. Mike tells him that in the world of radio "bigger is better". Spud takes this advice a little too literally and concocts a series of wild stories. When he announces that a huge non-existent storm is on its way, the Valley is thrown into chaos with machines running this way and that. Soon gridlock brings the whole place to a standstill. Bob goes to rescue Spud and discovers the truth about his stories. Spud is very sorry and uses the radio to direct everyone back to where they should be. Spud decides that being a DJ is not for him. He's better off scaring crows. Mike Turntable has just finished the night shift at the radio station is trying to get some sleep at the Bobland Bay hotel before he DJs at the hotel pool party that evening. Scoop and Muck are digging the pool in time for the party, a job that's much noisier than they expect. Mike keeps waking up. Trying to dig quietly and quickly is proving impossible. Scoop tries to soundproof Mike's room with egg boxes, but that doesn't work, so he has another idea. He remembers Mike's favorite song and plays it to him through some big headphones. Mike is soon sleeping like a baby and the pool is soon finished! Caillou's mood changes when he discovers an old photo of a younger Grandpa and Grandma dancing along with the first-prize ribbon they won at a dancing contest. With Grandma as his partner, Caillou follows her lead and learns to dance in the living room. When Dad's baseball team, the Tigers, is playing a game at the park, Caillou, Rosie and Mom, go to cheer him on. Although he's too little to go up and bat, Caillou becomes part of the team as the water boy and does a great job. Caillou has to learn that the guest comes first. When Leo comes over for a sleep-over, Caillou sees that Leo misses home a bit. Caillou decides to lend Leo his favorite dinosaur pajamas. The two friends find a perfect solution to make them both happy and have the best sleep-over ever!     Thomas & Friends [#605H] Best Times! Sir Topham Hatt announces that the library is holding a special story time for all the children. He needs an engine to deliver the storybooks. Thomas is so excited that he has been chosen for the special that he doesn't wait to for the books to be tied in place. As Thomas gets more excited, he chuffs faster and faster and ends up along a bumpy track. Soon his trucks bump high in the air and the storybooks land in Farmer McColl's field. Thomas doesn't want to let the children down and decides to make it a picnic story time, and brings the children to the storybooks. Percy has a special Special. He is to deliver a big gift crate to Knapford. It is Dowager Hatt's birthday present from Sir Topham Hatt. Percy is so proud that he decides that rather than go directly to Knapford, he will show off his gift crate to Mavis. But at the Quarry,it gets covered in slate dust! Percy is mortified and tries to fix the situation by taking the crate to the Wash Down and then to be dried at the Sodor Steam Works. It is all a disaster! Percy then realizes that he could put the bedraggled parcel into a new crate. Victor helps him and supplies a brand new crate which is painted red.     Bob the Builder [#611] Scrambler's Scouts! Chip Chipper and Scrambler are taking the Sunflower Valley kids on an overnight "Badger Patrol". Their motto is "Be prepared" - advice that Scrambler is determined to follow. When Roley tells him that the patrol will need shelter, Scrambler rushes to get a tent from Mrs. Bentley - but Chip has already organized the kids to build bivouac shelters. Then Roley tells Scrambler that the patrol will need food so he rushes off to get some fruit and nuts. But again, Chip beats him to it with some energy bars. Finally, Roley says that the children will need to keep warm at night so Scrambler zooms off to get some warm clothing, not realizing that the patrol already have warm jackets. Scrambler feels bad for not being properly prepared. When the patrol needs some badger food, Scrambler realizes that his fruit and nuts are ideal. He was prepared after all! The patrol declares Scrambler to be the coolest patrol member ever. Mr. Bentley is in need of a proper Mayor's office so he can stop filing his paperwork in Mrs. Bentley's greenhouse. Bob sets about constructing a special building made out of unusual recycled materials. Sumsy wants to help and sets off to find some materials for Bob. Unfortunately, she gets the wrong end of the stick and brings some bricks and some glass from M.r Bentley's greenhouse - things that people still need. Chaos ensues when birds make off with Mr. Bentley's paperwork. Spud retrieves the paperwork but Sumsy feels terrible.       We are aware of the break-up issues for our DT25 Over the Air signal in the Monterey/Salinas area. This will also affect viewers of any cable or satellite signal provider using that transmitter as their source. Engineers are working on the problem.
