Suze Orman's Financial Solutions for You We all have financial issues and problems. Suze Orman's latest special sharply focuses on her helping individual viewers "find financial solutions for you." As always, Suze's advice is based not just on numbers, but on a critical understanding of ourselves and our emotional needs. The special's central theme is that our financial decision-making should be guided by an understanding of "the goal of money." As Suze perceptively defines it: "The goal of money is to make you feel secure." Our financial solutions should work to fulfill that goal. In addition, Suze stresses the importance of making financial decisions that you feel comfortable with. Financial problems are caused when you do things with money that do not seem "right" to you, despite pressures and advice from others. duration 1:57:06   STEREO TVG

Healing A.D.D. with Dr. Daniel Amen ADD or ADHD is a national health crisis that continues to grow-yet it remains one of the most misunderstood and incorrectly treated illnesses today. Kids and adults are put on powerful stimulant medications in short office visits without any biological information, and the stories of these medications hurting children and adults are common and persistent.
In this national public television program, psychiatrist Daniel Amen and his wife nurse Tana Amen take a completely new look at ADD and explain 7 unique types based on the extensive brain imaging work of the Amen Clinics on tens of thousands of ADD patients. Treating all people with ADD the same invites failure and frustration and can be a disaster, as the traditional treatments that make two of the types better can make the other 5 types worse.
The show is divided into three parts. In Part One, the myths and misconceptions about ADD will be discussed as well as the hallmark ADD symptoms. In Part Two, the 7 different types of ADD will be described in detail. And, in Part Three Dr. and Mrs. Amen we'll give you a clear method for Healing ADD, including the best natural treatments. They are not opposed to medication, but think it's smart to start with lifestyle and natural treatments first.

The Story of the Jews with Simon Schama [#101H] The Beginning The story of the Jewish experience begins 3000 years ago with the emergence of a tribal people in a contested land and their extraordinary book, the Hebrew Bible, a chronicle of their stormy relationship with a faceless, formless, jealous God. It was loyalty to this "God of Words" that defined the distinct identity of the ancient Jews and preserved it despite all that history could throw their way - war, invasion, deportation, enslavement, exile and assimilation. The story unfolds with a dazzling cast of historical characters: Sigmund Freud dying in exile in London; Victorian evangelicals and explorers following "in the footsteps" of Moses; Jewish mercenaries living, prospering and intermarrying in the pagan land of Egypt; Messianic Jews dreaming of the Apocalypse; and a Jewish historian, Josephus, who witnessed first-hand the moment when the apocalypse finally came and the Romans destroyed the Jewish High Temple in Jerusalem. duration 55:21   STEREO TVPG (Secondary audio: DVI)
