Chris and Martin understand what he means when a monitor lizard arrives for a visit. Rome wasn't built in a day, and it seems unlikely that Chris, Martin and Zoboo's collapse-prone dinosaur model will ever actually be completed. But in the end, the Martinandchrisaurus stands tall for all to see. Jackie discovers an owl pellet - the fur and bone remains of an owl's prey -- and breaks it open to see the bones inside. When Henry tries to steam through Sodor using the normal coal, he breaks down. Henry realizes that he has been a silly engine. Sir Topham Hatt tells Henry that it is the special coal that makes Henry such a special engine. When 'Arry and Bert tease Henry again, he tells them that he is proud of being a special engine with special coal. Henry even helps 'Arry and Bert when they run out of diesel! Edward the Hero - Edward is given the special job of being the Rescue Engine at the Sodor Search and Rescue Center. Edward wants to be a hero if he is to help Harold at the Center. Edward thinks that heroes are strong, fast and stern so decides he must be strong, fast and stern too. He helps Charlie by being funny, helps Dowager Hatt by being kind, and helps Farmer McColl's dog by being gentle. Edward doesn't think he's a hero though because he hasn't shown he is fast, strong and stern. As Edward chuffs along the tracks he sees people cheering and waving to him and calling him a hero. When they return from eating a healthy power snack, their ball is missing! It's a real mystery and they need to investigate to solve the problem! First, Telly writes down what they already know about the mystery! Then, he forms a hypothesis, or a guess, that Abby must have made the basketball disappear because she's able to do magic. Abby tells them that she was with the seven dwarves so it couldn't have been her. Telly and Elmo investigate further and Elmo suggests that they look under the table. The basketball isn't there and now Telly's notebook and crayon have vanished making the mystery even more mysterious! Elmo discovers a new clue and after thinking about where he's heard this "whoosh" sound before, he forms a new hypothesis- the Big Bad Wolf did it! The Big Bad Wolf explains that it wasn't him either. Now they hear the "whoosh" again and Telly's hat is missing! This time they also feel a tickle but don't see anything. Leela comes by and helps them piece all the clues together. What can be all around that you can sometimes hear and feel, but can't see? Wind! Elmo and Telly experiment and test out their new hypothesis and see if the wind made their things disappear. They follow a leaf flying in the wind and find all of their missing things. So when the symphony maestro announces that George is the winner of the conductor-for-a-day contest, George can't believe his good fortune. He'll be making that wonderful music! But first George must learn the rhythms necessary to conduct an orchestra, and he studies and practices night and day. Sure enough, his debut goes brilliantly - until Charkie mistakes George's baton for a dog toy and the monkey maestro has to play "keep away" without conducting his musicians into a musical frenzy.
    * Hats and a Hole: A hard hat, a shovel, a wheelbarrow and a ladder - George learns that all four items are necessary when digging a gigantic hole. But why are George and the Man With the Yellow (Hard) Hat digging in their own yard? It's a surprise, and George will have to wait for the answer while the Man and Mr. Quint go help Flint Quint change a light bulb, taking the ladder with them. But when the hats fall into the hole after a run-in with Jumpy Squirrel, how will George retrieve them? After trying this hat rescue mission with several items which are not quite long enough to reach into the bottom of the hole, George decides that a water hose might do the trick. And when he accidentally turns on the water itself, the ensuing flood turns out to be a spark of genius - not only does the water float the hats to the surface, but George discovers the true purpose for the hole.

Patrick and Pamela are athletes who invite our kids, Mom, and Spikey along to watch them use their impressive dome heads to play a volleyball type sport called, Dome Ball. Don has a large collection of things he's found in nature, but he's missing one hard-to-locate item - amber. On the Dinosaur Train, Don and the other Pteranodon kids find out that Gilbert is also looking for amber. He's even more confused when Miss Martin explains that Emma has Type 1 Diabetes. Worried about his friend, Caillou becomes very protective of Emma, not wanting her to do anything - not even go down the slide! But when Emma outruns Caillou in a race, he soon realizes Emma's diabetes isn't like a cold or flu. It's something Emma has to live with every day...and she's doing a pretty good job of it. Educational Objective: Realizing having a chronic illness doesn't mean one needs to put one's life on hold. Lost and Found: When things begin to go missing around the house - like Mommy's keys - Mommy blames Gilbert. Caillou is sure Gilbert didn't take them...and he sets out to prove it! Together, Caillou, Mommy and Rosie backtrack through the house and eventually discover Caillou's theory was right - Gilbert didn't take the keys -- Mommy left them in the door handle! Bertie rolls onto Thomas' flatbed and soon they're off on their adventure. Bertie loves the sights but he needs to go and collect Dowager Hatt and her friends. Thomas is having such a good time that he doesn't listen to Bertie. Chaos ensues as the flatbed rolls away from Thomas and Bertie is stuck on it in the middle of the Shake Shake Bridge. Thomas chuffs away fast to ask Harold to rescue Bertie. Thomas then collects Dowager and her friends and brings them to meet Bertie at the Shake Shake Bridge. Dowager and her friends jump into the back of Bertie and the flatbed is re-attached to Thomas and they race through the countryside. Spencer The Grand - It is a very foggy day on Sodor. All the engines are asked to stay at Tidmouth Sheds by Sir Topham Hatt. Spencer wants to get back to the Duke and Duchess' Summer House instead. Spencer can't find his way in the fog and arrives at Mavis' Quarry and Whiff's Waste Dump rather than at the Summer House. Just as Spencer thinks he has arrived at the Summer House, he realizes he is back at Tidmouth Sheds. Thomas and the engines are kind to him and he realizes he has been a silly engine. Now it is Spencer's turn to be kind and he goes to find Percy who is still lost in the fog.     Bob the Builder [#611] Scrambler's Scouts! Chip Chipper and Scrambler are taking the Sunflower Valley kids on an overnight "Badger Patrol". Their motto is "Be prepared" - advice that Scrambler is determined to follow. When Roley tells him that the patrol will need shelter, Scrambler rushes to get a tent from Mrs. Bentley - but Chip has already organized the kids to build bivouac shelters. Then Roley tells Scrambler that the patrol will need food so he rushes off to get some fruit and nuts. But again, Chip beats him to it with some energy bars. Finally, Roley says that the children will need to keep warm at night so Scrambler zooms off to get some warm clothing, not realizing that the patrol already have warm jackets. Scrambler feels bad for not being properly prepared. When the patrol needs some badger food, Scrambler realizes that his fruit and nuts are ideal. He was prepared after all! The patrol declares Scrambler to be the coolest patrol member ever. Mr. Bentley is in need of a proper Mayor's office so he can stop filing his paperwork in Mrs. Bentley's greenhouse. Bob sets about constructing a special building made out of unusual recycled materials. Sumsy wants to help and sets off to find some materials for Bob. Unfortunately, she gets the wrong end of the stick and brings some bricks and some glass from M.r Bentley's greenhouse - things that people still need. Chaos ensues when birds make off with Mr. Bentley's paperwork. Spud retrieves the paperwork but Sumsy feels terrible. Diggery shows them how plant roots need water air and compost, which Diggery helps to make. Sally's flower is sure to grow once she gets some of her own secret super diggers to help!
    * Pucker Up and Blow - Nick and Sally are trying to whistle but they just can't seem to get it right! The Cat takes them to visit his friend, Rocky the Winter Wren, who is an expert whistler. Rocky, and his son Ricky, offer this advice: if you want to whistle, start with one note and practice.
