George tries to squirrel-proof the birdhouse, moving it further from the tree trunk, clearing away freestanding objects, and even developing a pulley laundry line system to hang it from. But to no avail - that squirrel can climb - and apparently eat - anything! Why does Jumpy keep taking the seeds? Has his appetite suddenly grown - or maybe they're not all for him? Educational Objective: To illustrate that all products and systems are subject to failure; and that many can be fixed through troubleshooting.
    * George-asaurus: Professor Wiseman needs the Man with the Yellow Hat's help to assemble some rare dinosaur bones into a skeleton in time for an important archaeologist, Dr. Raj Desai, to see them. Wiseman and the Man finish the task and meet Dr. Desai for lunch. Meanwhile, George and Gnocchi play outside with a toy plane, which floats though a window--landing on the newly assembled dinosaur. When George climbs the fragile bones to retrieve it, the entire skeleton collapses! Using another dinosaur as a model, George is able to organize, sort, and piece together the bones back into its proper form. But how will Dr. Desai feel about a monkey working on his precious dinosaur bones, especially when the wrong head ends up on the dinosaur's skeleton? Educational Objective: To sort and classify bones based on their shape and size. To develop an understanding of symmetry by reassembling the dinosaur bones so that each bone on one side of the body matches the equivalent bone on the other side (e.g., size, shape, location).

A few more years and their maple sapling will grow into a maple tree!

Big Bird thinks it would be fun to see pictures of these other bird habitats, but Freddy Flapman has a better idea! Why not a virtual tour? First, Freddy Flapman takes Big Bird to the beach where there are pelicans and gulls and beautiful ocean views. Big Bird decides that, although he likes to visit the visit the beach, he doesn't want to live there. Freddy Flapman then transforms Sesame Street into a big swamp! Big Bird learns all about this habitat, where owls and ducks like to live, but decides it's not the right one for him. Freddy Flapman pops up again. This time Freddy Flapman claps his hands and Big Bird's nest area is turned into a beautiful rainforest! Big Bird likes it. The rainforest is warm and colorful and has animals of every color and size. In fact, Big Bird likes it so much he wants to move there! Big Bird begins packing and waving good bye to all of his friends on Sesame Street. Just as he is about to leave, Big Bird's friends remind him of all the things he would miss if he migrated to the rainforest. Big Bird realizes he can't leave Sesame Street, after all this is where all of his friends are. Sir Topham Hatt decides to send Kevin to help him, but Cranky doesn't want any help. Kevin is disappointed and he tries to please Cranky by working hard and picking up things Cranky has dropped. Soon there is trouble when Kevin falls off the docks into the water. But it's Cranky who rescues him and Kevin realizes that Cranky does like him after all and appreciates his help. Henry's Hero - As they are working together, Henry and Hiro both start to billow dark smoke from their funnels. Duck tells them they have taken on some bad coal. Henry is worried that the bad coal will damage his firebox if he continues working, so he heads back to his shed. Hiro wants to keep on puffing and delivers their heavy load on his own. The museum's curator, David Mockney asks Bob and the team to help with the repairs. Mr. Mockney explains that Fixham was built years ago by Brickbeard the Pirate and legend tells of him burying a Golden Hammer. Scrambler believes the Golden Hammer is hidden in a red box. Spud and Scrambler think it would be great to find the Golden Hammer and give it to Bob as a gift! Lofty drops Spud down the chimney to look for the key but Spud crashes through the roof! After apologizing to Bob, Spud shows Scrambler the key he found when he fell through the roof. The key unlocks the red box and there is a piece of paper with a picture of a bear inside. Perhaps, this clue will lead them to the Golden Hammer. Lofty and the Teddy Bear Rescue - Bob and the team are helping Toyshop owner Mrs. Toosey build a new window for her shop. Spud and Scrambler are using the picture of the bear to continue their search for the Golden Hammer. At the toyshop, Lofty sees a box of teddy bears and decides to move them out of the way. Meanwhile, foxes follow him to the hiding place in the woods. Mrs. Toosey explains to Spud and Scrambler that she has teddy bears in her shop, but Lofty has moved them to keep them safe. With help from Bob and the team, they finally locate the teddy bears in the foxes' den. Back at the Toyshop, Spud sees a teddy sitting on a red box! Good thing Cat needs help putting his model of the solar system back together - they can help him name the planets! Off in the Space-a-ma-racer they go on a whirlwind trip around the universe, learning the names of the seven planets as they go.

      We are aware of the break-up issues for our DT25 Over the Air signal in the Monterey/Salinas area. This will also affect viewers of any cable or satellite signal provider using that transmitter as their source. Engineers are working on the problem.
