Big Bird suggests that they make a new trail and shows them how to get back so they will remember: walk past Oscar's can, past the 123 building, turn at the tree, and past Hooper's store. There will be the subway station. Hansel and Gretel make a new path using paper because Cookie Monster won't eat paper, but the paper blows away in the wind! Next, they make the trail using fish because Cookie Monster doesn't like fish and fish don't blow away. They are finally ready for their play date when the Flying Halibut Fish Jugglers use the fish from the path to juggle! Hansel and Gretel are worried they won't know the way again, but Big Bird reminds them of how to get back. They follow Big Bird's directions and successfully reach the subway station! He sends Spencer to the hoist, claims Henry needs special coal, and orders the spare funnel for James. His unwitting accomplice in all this is Kevin who is loyal and obedient, but very confused. Kevin's confusion sparks total Sodor Steam Works chaos with Spencer swinging from the hoist hook, Kevin rolling into James and James covering Victor in twigs and soot! Thomas realizes he hasn't listened. He corrects everything, and leaves Victor to run the Sodor Steam Works and Kevin to recover! It's a great day for Sodor because Hiro is returning to the Island! Thomas and Percy are very excited. Sir Topham Hatt tells Thomas and Percy that he is organizing a welcoming party for Hiro at Knapford and Thomas is to tell all the other engines to gather for it. But, Thomas decides that getting a welcome present for Hiro would make him even happier. Thomas looks for a gift at Farmer McColl's, at the Quarry and at the Sodor Steam Works and fails to tell the engines about the party. When Thomas gets to Knapford present-less, he sees Hiro alone and realizes Hiro is also guest-less! Thomas is devastated!He rushes back to the places he visited to tell all the engines about Hiro's party.   New Tricks [#308P] Congratulations In 2001, Luke Hanson was charged with burning down his school, thanks to the evidence of the headmaster, Andrew Simson. 5 years into his sentence, new evidence linking Hanson to a robbery which took place at the same time as the arson attack earns him early release. Free and allegedly reformed, Hanson now wants his case reinvestigated to find out who really was responsible for the fire, as the detective drama continues. He seeks out Halford to help right the wrongs of his past. Meanwhile, Gerry Standing finds himself pursuing an investigation of a more personal nature. At a rebuilt Luscombe School, Hanson is welcomed by Simson as he gives a talk to pupils about life in prison. The two men appear to have made their peace. However, the team also has other matters to sort out. Halford has some unfinished business with Luke's father, Ricky Hanson, and decides to rattle his cage suspecting he may well have framed his own son. But Halford's pursuit of Hanson Senior reveals more than he bargained for. Meanwhile, DAC Strickland encourages Pullman to apply for promotion as Head of the Murder Squad - a job she would most certainly get. Not wanting to unsettle the team, she keeps news of the possible promotion to herself.   Remember climate change? The issue barely comes up with any substance in our current political dialogue. But bringing climate change back into our national conversation is as much a communications challenge as it is a scientific one. This week, scientist Anthony Leiserowitz, director of the Yale Project on Climate Change Communication, joins Bill to describe his efforts to galvanize communities over what's arguably the greatest single threat facing humanity. Leiserowitz, who specializes in the psychology of risk perception, knows better than anyone if people are willing to change their behavior to make a difference. "A pervasive sense up to now has been that climate change is distant - distant in time, and distant in space," Leiserowitz tells Bill. "And what we're now beginning to see is that it's not so distant. I have a 9-year-old son - he's going to be my age in the year 2050.
